Yaaradi Nee Mohini
Yaaradi Nee Mohini is a 2008 blockbuster Tamil family drama film directed by Mithran Jawahar. The film, remake of the 2007 Telugu hit film Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule, directed by Selvaraghavan that starred Venkatesh and Trisha Krishnan, stars Dhanush, Selvaraghavan's brother, and Nayantara in lead roles, whilst Karthik Kumar, Raghuvaran, K. Vishwanath, Karunas and Saranya Mohan play supporting roles. The music for the film was scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The title of the film is derived from a song from the 1958 Sivaji Ganesan-Padmini starrer Uthama Puthiran. It was Raghuvaran's last film before his death on 19 March 2008.
Yaaradi Nee Mohini was released on 4 April 2008, becoming highly successful at the box office, emerging as one of the highest grossing Tamil films of the year. The film also received seven nominations at the 56th Filmfare Awards South.

Yajaman
Yejaman (1993) is a Tamil language romantic film directed by the Tamil Director R. V. Udhayakumar. It stars Rajinikanth, Meena and Napoleon in the lead roles.
Plot
Vaanavaraayan (Rajnikanth) plays the role of a feudal chieftain, adored and respected by his village people. Following his advice, they abstain from voting in the elections and instead, pool the money given by the candidates to get themselves some basic amenities. Vallavaraayan (Napoleon) is his arch enemy. Their enmity is further sharpened when Vaanavaraayan wins the hand of Vaitheeswari (Meena), whom Vallavaraayan had also wished to wed. So Vallavaraayan convinces the priest at the temple to mix a poison in the holy water that Vaitheeswari drinks. As a result she becomes incapable of conceiving. But surprisingly, Vaitheeswari soon becomes pregnant-though she has pretended to do so to uphold her husband's honor. She takes poison and kills herself unable to bear the grief of being incapable of giving her husband a child and on her deathbed makes Vaanavarayan swear to take Ponni (Aishwariya) as his wife. Vaanavarayan however refuses until Ponni agrees to marry Sembattu('Thalapathi' Dinesh)- Vallavarayan's hechman-who abandons her to Vallavarayan's vice. Infuriated Vaanavarayam attacks Vallavarayam and spares his life after giving him a sermon on how to win the heart of people.
Vaanavarayan marries Ponni in the end and has a daughter he names Vaitheeswari (appears in the extended DVD version of P.Vasu Special DVD's).
